Level 2 Chapter 1

Level 2’s first chapter will get you acquainted with stock markets and some of the drivers that cause stock market prices to move.
Most importantly, Chapter 1 will present you with an introduction into one of the major branches of financial analysis, called fundamental analysis. Fundamental analysis is a systematized and coherent assessment of real-world factors that influence asset prices, whose ultimate goal is to yield a credible price prediction. 

   Chapter 2 will further elaborate on fundamental analysis by presenting a comprehensive overview of its three subcomponents – macro-environment analysis, micro-environment analysis and asset-specific analysis.  

   Widely used analytical frameworks that any trader can use to aid his investment decision-making, such as PESTEL and Porter’s Five Forces Model, are also discussed in detail.
