Level 3’s second chapter continues the discussion on technical analysis. It elaborates on the types, purpose and usability of price charts.
In particular, Chapter 2 provides a highlight of line charts, bar charts, candlestick charts and point-and-figure charts. These provide useful preparation for the advanced technical analysis techniques we present in Levels 4 and 5.
Chapter 2 further focuses on major concepts that aid a trader in taking decisions on when to enter and when to exit the market. These include price mean reversion, trading ranges, position squaring and retracement stopping.
